Week 7 Goals

My four goals for this Week:
- I need to ensure that I am up to date on ICT coursework. I haven't struggled as of yet but I cannot dismiss the fact that it is a very demanding subject and therefore I need to sacrifice time within school and at home to get tasks completed. (02/12/15).

- I need to set the personal goal of obtaining and purchasing Christmas presents. I need to approach this carefully as I have a time and budget limit. This is good practice for when I go to University or other places in which I need to be independent and manage my own money. I need to unsure that I get everything in time and at a good price. (18/12/15).

- I need to more money aware as I need to be able to ration it between commitments and rewards such as days out. This is essential as I need to be able to do everything without having to worry about financials. This will also benefit me in years to come as it is training my management of money (18/12/15).

-I need to start doing more school work at home as I am relying on completing them on a Thursday and Friday, when I have most frees. This is working rather well at the moment but if I get used to it o will not to be able to do work at home as I won't be used it. (18/12/15).

Week 7 Review:

- I am ensuring that I am up to date by keeping a mental record of the tasks in which need to be completed. I am making sure that I do not fall behind to a great extent and that I am in a safe zone which prevents me from being so far behind with my work, that I won't be able to catch up.

- I have managed to get the appropriate gifts for one individual to a strict budget and I have not exceeded it. However, I have yet to purchase some more presents for secret Santa, etc. I have managed to stay on budget which is good training for later life.

- I have managed to ensure that I have enough money to go to the gym and have a safe sum of money in my bank account if I need to take some out for emergencies. I have managed to stay with a safe amount of money in my bank which is good training for later life.

- I have started to do more work at home, such as ICT and maths. This will give me more time to get more work and tasks done in frees and spare time. I am managing to get out of the habit of relying on school days to get work done.

Week 6 Goals

My four goals for this Week:
- I need to ensure that I make sensible decisions based on the results I get in my mock exams. This is important as I need to identify my points of improvement within my school subjects. This is needed as it ensures that I do not fall back because I do not get certain parts of work or exercises. This should be a recurring target but I am going to set a deadline of the end of next week (20/11/15).

- I need to complete my artwork in order to ensure that I am still producing a good quantity of work and to a good standard. This is needed as I cannot afford to fall back within my A level, especially with art as it relies heavily on coursework. If I was to fall back within my art I would have to completed any of this work within my free time. Which is a big commitment. This should be completed by (20/11/15).

- I need to ensure that I am up to date on all of my ICT as I cannot afford to either have work of a poor quality or not enough work completed. This cannot happen as ICT requires purely on coursework so I cannot afford to have bits missing. Also if all of my work is to a good standard I will be able to gain a good amount of UCAS points which will help me get in to university. (20/11/15).

- I need to revise maths to unsure that I get everything within the subject. I need to identify the issues within my subject and strengthen my weaknesses to ensure that I am trying my hardest within all areas of mathematics. If I don't start to become more engaged in lesson then I may fail and if I fail mathematics I may not get the grades I want and therefore the university needed to succeed.(20/11/15).

Week 6 Review:

- I have made sure that I am now working independently in maths. I am on a table still but with less people so therefore there is less distractions when I am working. I am also trying to ensure that I get as much work done in ICT as possible so there is less to do at home, where I can revise and relax.

- I am making sure that I have taken time to evaluate what specific pieces I will need to complete so therefore there isn't much work yet. However, I am currently working on a drawing in which is almost complete.

- I have ensured that I am up to date with my ICT coursework by sacrificing some of my own time in order to make sure that all work is complete. I have also read through the majority of my work in order to ensure that they are all of a good standard.

- I did okay in my maths test, however, there is room for vast improvement. I don't necessarily have any weak spots within maths but I do need to ensure that I recap and revise everything in order to ensure that I don't forget any equations or that I struggle to use certain equations in a complex manner.

Week 5 Goals

My four goals for this Week:
- I need to revise for my mock exams in the upcoming week. I need to ensure that I revise all appropriate subjects and to a mature extent. This needs to be done as it ensures that I do well within my mock exams and therefore I have a decent shot at doing well with my actual A levels. This needs to be done within two weeks as it is when my exams start. (18/11/15)

- I need to keep on track of homework and other school commitments to ensure that I am up to date with tasks in which need to be completed. This ensures that I will not overwhelm myself with work. If I was to overwhelm myself I would most likely become stress and therefore I may be prone to making mistakes and/or rush my work. This will effect my overall quality of my school work and therefore effect my grades negatively. (11/11/15)

- To complete my personal target of watching more TV/ relaxing activities. I think that this is a good target as I need to plan more free time as I am starting to overload myself with work. I am working too late and it is messing with my sleeping pattern. (11/11/15)

- I need to be more relaxed and not overreact as much as it is stressing me out. I need to have a more positive approach to school and life. If I was to approach school life in a negative manner I would fail to complete work to a good standard. (11/11/15)

Week 5 Review:
- Having done one mock exam already, I can make and accurate estimation about my success. I have managed to revise appropriate things and prepare myself for the upcoming exams. There has been times where I have procrastinated when I was meant to revise but it was because either I was too tired as it was too late or that I did too much work before hand.

- I ensured that I knew what homework tasks were given and what commitments I had to sacrifice time for. I ensured that I had a moderate work load so I didn't become stressed as a result of having so much work to complete.

- I have partly done this as I have managed to plan some free time in my day. However, I am still feeling as though I am too busy to relax. I think I should be able to complete this target to a better standard after the mock exams as I will have more time to spend freely as it won't be as necessary to revise as much.

- I have managed to calm down a little and instead of stressing out over things I have decided to organise certain tasks that need to be completed ad one they have done so, I tick them off. This is good as it gives me the sense of accomplishment and therefore I will feel satisfied and proud if I was to complete a certain task.
